This clipper works better with human hair than it does with pet hair. The blades work best with resistance from the hair. They do require constant cleaning when grooming a dog or cat since the dander and down-like hair clog the blades all the time. Considering the low price and convenience, I wouldn’t complain too much. if they don’t work perfectly.

I have owned this clipper for 6 months. It has both positive and negative points to consider.
On the positive side:
1. Wireless – Easy to charge
2. Quite
3. Nice case and comb
4. When clean, it cuts beautifully and easy to use.
5. If you are using these clippers for straight, human hair, the attachments work great and clogs are less.
On the negative side:
1. Clipper blades clog with dog hair quickly and require CONSTANT cleaning so as to function.
2. Scissors are very dull!
3. Attachments catch my dog’s hair almost immediately. Needs to be redesigned.
4. Doesn’t go through matted hair well. Seems to lack the power.
5. When trimming your pet’s feet, the blades don’t trim hair easily without resistance. The blades need to be adjusted closer to the tip to be more effective.
Great concept and good price. If you don’t mind cleaning the blade numerous times while grooming your pet, then these clippers will do well for you. They seem to work much better on human hair (straight) than they do with lightweight pet hair/fur. For some reason, the blades don’t clog as quickly and the attachments don’t catch the same way they do when grooming our Yorkies.
