I’ve only used it once so far and I really liked it. It will take some practice to get it right but my Bichon was not frightened by it which was my main concern. I was surprised at how easily the clippers moved through my dog’s hair. She is a mixed breed that looks like a golden retriever except she has short erect ears.
I did find it difficult to put the blade back on after taking it off for cleaning.
It is very quiet and does not bother my dog at all.

We used this chipper on our Old English Sheepdog. It moved through her fur like butter!!! I couldn’t have been more pleased. I needed a pair of clippers to be able to trim up my dog between grooming, and my groomer is closed right now so I went online to see what would be good for a SHIH TZU, and your clippers got some good reviews. I also liked that it was low noise. and the price was right. I am very happy with the set, also I was able to trim up my husband’s hair. Very happy with Sminiker, and would recommend them. The only problem that I have is that it collects hair under the attachment. Thank you for the trimer, I really need that

Due to reasons of Covid 19 not able to take my dog in for grooming so thought I would give it a try for myself. I ordered this on 04/24/2020, I just received it today (04/26/2020, I like the looks and the feel of the clippers but right now it is plugged in and charging. Will not be using it on my soft coated wheaten terrier until tomorrow afternoon after I wash her up and dry her off and come and brush her out. I hope that this unit works has good has it looks, I am getting into the dog styling business and want something dependable and least amount of danger to the pet. My only suggestion is that the scissors should be the “thinning” shears and straight scissors with curved ends instead of the nail clippers and the file.

Your booklet on how to use is very scanty and does not tell me enough about the blade dial on the side of the cutter. Also the add on combs are not standards used in the UD.

Trimmer was easy to use and worked well, but does leave lines where trimmed using the level limiting combs guides. Battery life is great. Length adjustments are great. Scissors weren’t as good…maybe they need to be sharper or tightened. There is a noticeable gap between the blades. Our dog didn’t like the nail cutter, so didn’t get to use those. The metal comb works great for getting knots out.
