I just received the clippers and tried it briefly on my cat. So far he seems to be okay with it. I don’t normally do a full trim. I just try to trim his backside to help him keep clean. He is a Maine Coon that is a little over 17lbs and he has issues keeping himself groomed. I needed something that was quiet, lightweight and cordless. This seems to fulfil that.

It wouldn’t cut my cats matted hair at all. I had to use my scissors! After further inspection, I realized the reason they wouldn’t work well is because the actual piece that cuts the hair is made of plastic, not metal- no wonder! Total waste of money for my purpose.
