I like the small shape and design of the clippers makes it easy to handle. Our two dogs like the quietness of the motor in it as our oldest shitzu has anxiety issues. We were able to groom 4 dogs in one evening. Two of them less than 15#’s, one about 20#’s, these are my sisters dogs. The fourth dog is mine and she’s about 65#’s.
We had no problem what so ever with any of the dogs coats. The three small ones had never been groomed ever in their lives. I was concerned with the noise level which I thought all clippers had based on all of my previously purchased clippers. To our surprise the Sminiker clippers were so quiet that I could barely hear them. The clippers also cut so well I could barely believe it. The dogs who had never had been groomed never jumped or moved from any noise. I was so impressed. The large dog (mine) is part Golden Retriever/Great Pyrenees and she had a full winter coat. Her hair seemed to just float off.
She just laid there and enjoyed her cut. These by far are the best clippers I’ve ever purchased.
